Bevorzugte Behandlung von Kindern und Angstpatienten
Der größte Anteil an Patienten sind eher als “normal” anzusehen, sodass die Behandlung den üblichen Verlauf nimmt. Es gibt jedoch auch Personengruppen, die man als Zahnarzt bevorzugt behandeln sollte. Das sind:
- Kinder und Jugendliche
- Angstpatienten
- Schmerzpatienten
Hier sollte man als Zahnarzt besonderes Einfühlungvermögen zeigen, und sich insgesamt mehr Zeit für die Behandlung nehmen. Der Stressfaktor ist bei diesen Patienten aufgrund der Angst bzw. Schmerzen sehr hoch, was durchaus zu Komplikationen führen könnte. Damit das nicht passiert, wird bei Kindern beispielsweise in einem Behandlungsraum nur für Kinder behandelt und diese entsprechend abgelenkt. Bei Angstpatienten wird beruhigend eingeredet, abgelenkt und besonders vorsichtig behandelt. Diese 3 Personengruppen bekommen auch schneller einen Termin und müssen nicht so lange im Wartezimmer warten.
